The ABC's of salvation.

Acknowledge, Believe, Confess.

One must:

A: Acknowledge self as a sinner.

Ro:3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Isa:53:6: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Jas:2:10: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Ro:3:10 - 12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Joh:3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Ac:4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Next

B: Believe in Christ.

Ac:16:31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Lu:5:32: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Lu:13:3: I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Ro:2:4: Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Joh:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh:20:31: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Heb:11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Ro:10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ac:10:43: To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Then

C. Confess Christ as Savior.

Ro:10:9 - 10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

1Jo:4:15: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Ac:19:18: And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

1Jo:1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
