1. Rely upon the Holy Spirit.Eph:5:18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

2. Confess Jesus as Lord.
Ro:10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ph'p:2:11: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
3. Pray without ceasing.
1Th:5:17: Pray without ceasing.
Lu:18:1: And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
4. Search the Scriptures daily.
Joh:5:39: Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Ac:17:11: These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
5. Give liberally without grudging.
2Co:9:7: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Lu:6:38: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
6. Attend public worship regularly.
Heb:10:25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Psalms:50:5: Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
