MESSSAGES PARENTS SEND
MESSSAGES PARENTS SEND
By Charles Stanley
http://intouch.org/myintouch/broadcasts/tv_sermons_77546.html
Dear Friends in Christ,
Today on TV I heard just an excellent message
by Charles Stanley about the actual messages we send to our children inadvertently
by our selfish or careless treatment of them as we pursue our busy lives.
If you care about your children, you will want to allow yourself to be
taught by a man who lacked a father growing up, and thus was very sensitive
to what he missed later in life. I find Charles Stanley one of the most
transparent teachers of the Word in our time. Please take advantage of
this excellent message.

Mat 18:1-7 (KJV)
At the same time came the disciples unto
Jesus, saying,
Who is the greatest in the kingdom of
heaven?
{2} And Jesus called a little child unto
him,
and set him in the midst of them, {3}
And said,
Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted,
and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of
heaven.
{4} Whosoever therefore shall humble himself
as this little child,
the same is greatest in the kingdom of
heaven.
{5} And whoso shall receive one such little
child in my name receiveth me.
{6} But whoso shall offend one of these
little ones which believe in me,
it were better for him that a millstone
were hanged about his neck,
and that he were drowned in the depth
of the sea.
{7} Woe unto the world because of offences!
for it must needs be that offences come;
but woe to that man by whom the offence
cometh!
Mat 18:10 (KJV)
Take heed that ye despise not one
of these little ones;
for I say unto you,
That in heaven their angels do always
behold the face of my Father
which is in heaven.
Rom 15:1-3 (KJV)
We then that are strong ought to bear
the infirmities of the weak,
and not to please ourselves.
{2} Let every one of us please his neighbour
for his good to edification.
{3} For even Christ pleased not himself;
but, as it is written,
The reproaches of them that reproached
thee fell on me.
1 Cor 8:9 (KJV)
But take heed
lest by any means this liberty of yours
become a stumblingblock to them that are
weak.
1 Cor 9:22 (KJV)
To the weak became I as weak, that I might
gain the weak:
I am made all things to all men,
that I might by all means save some.
Col 3:21 (KJV)
Fathers, provoke not your children to
anger,
lest they be discouraged.
Eph 6:4 (KJV)
And, ye fathers, provoke not your
children to wrath:
but bring them up in the nurture and admonition
of the Lord.
Deu 4:9 (KJV)
Only take heed to thyself,
and keep thy soul diligently,
lest thou forget the things which thine
eyes have seen,
and lest they depart from thy heart all
the days of thy life:
but teach them thy sons, and thy sons'
sons;
